Very flat hollow shaft kit encoder with high speed capability

The SPEH series is an optical incremental encoder that is mounted directly on the shaft of the application. With a housing diameter of 22 mm and a very shallow installation depth of just 11.3 mm, the hollow shaft kit encoder can be integrated into compact designs to save space.
The hollow shaft encoder can be mounted precisely using the mounting tool supplied. It is suitable for shafts with a diameter of 2 mm to 6.35 mm. An optional housing bore in the cover is available for longer shafts.
Signals are transmitted via TTL or line driver outputs, which offer different advantages depending on the application. TTL outputs enable simple integration into control systems, while the line driver output uses differential signals and thus ensures interference-free transmission over longer cable runs. Two channels (A and B) enable the direction of rotation to be recognized and ensure reliable position feedback.
The maximum speed is up to 60,000 rpm, whereby the maximum usable number of pulses is reduced accordingly due to the cut-off frequency if this is utilized.
