Precise servo flange hybrid potentiometer with a long lifetime

The multiturn potentiometers in the HH21 series combine the advantages of wirewound and conductive plastic technology. Thanks to the hybrid resistor technology, the series offers almost infinite resolution and a particularly low-noise signal without winding jumps. Thanks to the smooth resistor surface, the potentiometer is characterised by a particularly long lifetime of over 10 million revolutions.

With a compact Ø20 mm housing and a low installation depth, the HH21 is ideal for applications with high precision and space restrictions. The series is available with electrical rotation angles of 1080° (3-turn), 1800° (5-turn) or 3600° (10-turn).

The HH21 can optionally be equipped with mechanical limit switches. These are activated within the electrically effective angle of rotation (360° × n) and enable direct signal feedback when defined positions are reached. The following variants are available:

• CW+CCW: Limit switch for both directions of rotation
• CW: Limit switch for clockwise rotation
• CCW: Limit switch for anti-clockwise rotation

Options:

• Electrically effective angle of rotation: 1080° (3 turn), 1800° (5 turn) or 3600° (10 turn)
• Resistance values: 1 kOhm to 100 kOhm
• Independent linearity: ±0.25 % (optionally up to ±0.1 %)
• Shaft adaptations: Various geometries and lengths
• Rear shaft: Additional mechanical connection options
• Mechanical limit switches: CW+CCW, CW or CCW
• Slipping clutch: Protects against overload due to unintentional rotary movements
• Tandem version: Up to 2 potentiometers for redundant signal output
• Center tap: Enables voltage or current tapping at a defined point on the resistor track, allowing for additional measurement outputs.
