The EVT series of inductive, very compact displacement sensors are designed for small stroke lengths from ±0.65 to ±12.5 mm. The mechanical sensing of linear motion is provided by a front guided push rod with internal spring return (EVT/EVTW) or loose push rod (EVTL/EVTWL). IP64 (EVT / EVTL) and IP68 (EVTW / EVTLW) versions are available. The IP68 versions are also available in a pressure-tight version up to max. 30 bar. The EVTB versions are inductive displacement transducers with an attractive price structure in IP64 design and are available as probes with internal spring return or loose core.
The inductive measurement principle of the EVT is configured with a cast LVDT coil without an electronic amplifier. The non-contact measuring principle provides a long service life and allows high dynamic applications, especially where small oscillating movements need to be detected. The EVT offers high accuracy due to its good linearity of <± 0.5% (optional <± 0.1%) and high resolution. The EVT is characterized by its compact miniature design of only Ø8…9.5 mm and can be integrated space-saving in difficult environmental conditions.
