Precise and economical multiturn potentiometer for a wide range of applications

The AL17/19 series was developed for applications that require a precise yet economical multiturn potentiometer. With a compact Ø22 mm housing and a wide range of options, this potentiometer is ideal for industrial controls, measuring systems and other applications where accuracy and reliability are essential.

The AL(R)17 potentiometer with Ø6.35 mm shaft and AL(R)19 potentiometer with Ø6.00 mm shaft are equipped with a screwdriver slot to facilitate zero point adjustment. In addition, an optional built-in slip clutch protects the potentiometer from damage caused by travelling over the end stops. The potentiometer is available with 3, 5 or 10 turns (optionally 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 turns). The radial, gold-plated connection pins are suitable for flat plugs (2.8 mm according to DIN 46247 Part 3), and the plug version simplifies electrical installation.

Thanks to the robust design with a glass fibre reinforced PA66 housing and a service life of up to 1 million revolutions, the AL17/19 series offers reliable performance even under demanding conditions. The optional seals, including a fully moulded housing (IP67), extend the range of applications in harsh environments.

• Resistance values: 100 Ohm to 100 kOhm
• Linearity: ±0.25 % (option: ±0.15 % or ±0.1 %)
