Durable and precise multiturn potentiometer

The Series 21 combines a robust design with exceptionally low actuating torque, making it ideal for applications requiring a precise and durable multiturn potentiometer. With a Ø20 mm plastic housing and a rotary movement of up to 10 turns, it offers a reliable solution for control and regulation tasks.

Thanks to the use of two precision ball bearings, a long service life (over 2 million turns) and high stability are guaranteed. The optional Series 21 limit switches are activated within the electrically effective angle of rotation (360° × n). Available types:

• CW+CCW: Limit switch for both directions of rotation
• CW: Limit switch for clockwise rotation
• CCW: Limit switch for anti-clockwise rotation

Options:

• Multiturn: 3, 5 or 10 turns
• Resistance values: 100 Ohm to 150 kOhm
• Resistance tolerance: ±3 % (option: ±1 %)
• Slipping clutch: Protection against mechanical overload due to over-rotation of the limit stops
• Limit switch: Optionally available for additional control functions
• Centre tap: Enables voltage or current tapping at a defined point on the resistance path and extends the functionality, e.g. as a measuring range divider
• Shaft adaptations: Various geometries and lengths available
• Rear shaft: Additional mechanical connection options
• Tandem version: For redundant signal output
