FDX Electromagnetic Spring Brake

The FDX electromagnetic spring brake (IP67) is a spring brake from the German firm PRECIMA.

It is a brake that is designed for use in very rough environments, such as offshore or in marine climates. All the external parts of the brake are treated to make them very resistant and durable, they are also designed to protect the internal parts of the brake at all times.

The FDX electromagnetic spring brake (IP67), it is a fully encapsulated and sealed brake, perfect for outdoor applications or use in harsh environments. Very simple assembly since the air gap is fixed.

It is available in 3 different sizes, both for static braking (between 375 and 1,500 Nm) and dynamic (between 250 – 1,000 Nm).

In addition, it can incorporate a lever to manually release the brake as well as micro switches to control operation and wear.
